Automation/Software Engineer (Python · TypeScript · APIs)

  • Build workflow automations, ERP/P21/NetSuite/QuickBooks integrations, file pipelines, and AI-assisted validations.
  • Design for reliability: retries, idempotency, monitoring, test coverage.

Security & Infrastructure Engineer (DevSecOps)

  • Own secrets management, IAM, key rotation, hardened images, least-privilege access, logging/alerts.
  • Build CI/CD and artifact pipelines with policy checks; threat model critical paths.
  • Nice to have: SOC2/NIST familiarity, SIEM, zero-trust patterns.

Solutions Architect (ERP/Finance Automations)

  • Translate messy business rules into deterministic flows; define acceptance criteria and test plans.
  • Scope integrations and edge-cases with clients; de-risk deployments.

Hiring Process

  • Intro screen (20–30 min) - mutual fit, expectations, constraints.
  • Practical exercise - short, real-world task (e.g., parse → validate → generate TXT/CSV with checksums).
  • Deep-dive + review - discuss decisions, edge-cases, failure modes.
  • Founder conversation - values, ownership, compensation philosophy.
  • References - evidence of outcomes over optics.
